BOOKING CONDITIONSi BOOKING CONFIRMATION
No booking can be accepted until the correct deposit or full payment (whichever is applicable), is received by the owners.
ii DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
For bookings made more than eight weeks before the start of the holiday, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. The balance will be due eight weeks before the commencement of the holiday. The owners reserve the right to re-let the property in the event of non-payment by the due date. For bookings made less than eight weeks before commencement full payment is required.
iii METHOD OF PAYMENT
Payment will normally be in GB pounds but can be made in another currency, with prior agreement as to the currency and the amount. Payment can be made by cheque, bank draft or bank transfer.
iv SECURITY DEPOSIT
A separate, refundable amount of £100 will be required to cover breakages, losses and any exceptional cleaning (see below). The property will be cleaned after you leave but if it is left in a particularly dirty condition, requiring additional cleaning, a suitable amount will be deducted from the deposit to cover the extra cost involved.
v NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
This should not exceed the number stated at the time of booking.
vi PETS
Pets are not allowed.
vii DISTURBANCE
Please ensure that no person renting or visiting the property disturbs other occupiers of the building.
viii CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
a) Within 4 weeks of the first night booked, no refund, except for security deposit. b) Between 4 and 8 weeks of the first night booked, 50% of rental value (+ security deposit).
ix LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
Whilst the property has adequate insurance cover for buildings, contents, fire, flood etc. the owners unfortunately cannot take liability for cancellation costs, personal accident or death whilst on the premises or grounds. It is strongly recommended that you have travel insurance to cover such eventualities.
